The focus of this guide is "WHAT and WHY" - I've tried to address WHAT people look for and therefore WHY good/popular adoptables are, well... good and popular.
Alright, so I know everyone's opinion varies, but I've been around a month or two now and I feel confident enough to be able to identify at least a few common tips/trends.
I hope this is helpful and if you have anything to add, any comments please post!
For this to be visually impacting you need to have examples of what you're trying to explain; examples of the chibi bases (cute and normal), Something like the skirt that's detailed but a little bit more examples of those. But over all it's a nice design. Originality is wonderful :3 I love this tutorial xD Technique is great! But like I said it needs more detail. The overall Impact is amazing! I will deffinately use some of these in my creations. Unique is something I got down I think, from creating my "OC/Art Cards" :3 I belive that this tutorial will be an amazing help to so many! Thanks for posting!
Can you please check my pixel wolves adoptables and tell me if you see something wrong with them? People don't seem to have much interest on them and it sure isn't for lack of advertisement, as they've been submitted into 16 different groups, have been featured in my last 2 or 3 journal entries and are being displayed right at the top of my profile. I don't know what I'm doing wrong
Hmm... the main thing I find is compared to non-pixel adoptables (can't think of the word), they appear very small so it's sort of hard for them to have a kind of presence, if I am explaining that right. also they seem a little blurry, but i think that's because the deviation isn't set as full size or something.
They do seem a little blurry, but I have no idea why, as the file is set to full size, and it's not blurred on my computer, only on DA. I thought the transparency was causing it but I just uploaded the white-background version of the file and it's still blurred, I don't know how to fix it. But I'll try making bigger adoptables in the future.
